You could see round corners with those glasses so a ball on table on table hitting rubber shouldn't need too much thought. This isn't of any relevance or use on this forum, not unlike yourself. Leave the posting to people who know what they're talking about. If I put a rhetorical question on pro9 you'd still come on and try and answer it!! Why the personal insults? Some people want handicaps because they dont want to improve. I am saying to improve you must practise. If the argument is they dont have time, then visualisation is one such way to help someone out. Why dont you enlighten us with your pool wisdom and let us know your real name.

I can visualise potting balls all day but all comes down to ability at end of day. Some have it and practice helps but most of people that play are 3 chances a rack kind of players which I won't give examples of as I don't want to embarrass some people. I merely said your point isn't valid and it isn't so not not personal, merely drivel.

Barry I know your not going to get money added tournaments and thats my point!! Thats exactly why tournaments need to cater for all players or there is no value for anyone

But dont resort to insults about my eyewear, it isnt a choice I like making.

Wow this really is turning into an 8 Ball forum, did thedrycow take a wrong turn? (That was both valid and rhetorical). Whatever happened to, "A Pool player is judged by whether he holds a cue, not by how he holds it"? As for the point in question, I actually think a change has happened to UK Pool in the last couple of years. The categories. The in crowd respect you more for retaining a low cat and winning the odd couple of hundred than reaching 4 one day semi finals for the same reward. Are you taking the Michael?? If you were as good as you talked you'd be a cat 2 that's for sure. I'm off to visualise ploughing this bird then I'll do it in hour. See if it works.

I'm off to visualise ploughing this bird then I'll do it in hour. See if it works. No I'm not taking the Michael. It is used in lots of other sports - Jack Nicklaus attributed it to 50% of the reason for his success in golf. Here is a quote from the great man. “I never hit a shot, not even in practice, without having a very sharp, in-focus picture of it in my head. First I see the ball where I want it to finish, nice and white and sitting up high on the bright green grass. Then the scene quickly changes, and I see the ball going there; its path, trajectory, and shape, even its behavior on landing. Then there is a sort of fade-out, and the next scene shows me making the kind of swing that will turn the previous images into reality.” If you can dispute a sporting legend then I suppose there is no point discussing with you. Fast discovering a lot of anally retentive people on here!!
