The US Open 9-Ball Championships get's underway later today, and both European and Great Britain are well represented out there - so I just wanted to wish them all the best of British luck. There Pro9 article with useful links, stats, and photos to come, is here... www.pro9.co.uk/html/article.php?sid=1423A lot of the Brits were relaxing yesterday with a doubles game of golf ( apparently Darren & Karl beat Daryl and Scott (or was it Chris? ) in a close game). ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-10-17 14:54 ]

I was going through the player list and saw that Alex Pagulayan is representing Canada and not the Phillipines. Is this correct or just a typo?

I think he's got dual nationality, and he used to represent Canada, and was even heavily involved in the Canadian 9 Ball Tour and everything, but he's been back in the Philippines for a good while now, so I would have thought it was a typo.

Some good match-ups coming if they all make it through 1st couple of rounds... How about.. Archer vs Orcullo 2nd round SVB vs Chris round 4 Imran vs Raj round 2 Boyzi vs Klatt round 3 Sigel vs Strickland round 4 Daz vs Alcano round 3 ..toughest tournament in the world this imo ( i should add, from a non playing perspective) [ This message was edited by: SpongeBob on 2010-10-17 17:29 ]

On my first match 11-2 played good early on and had a few rolls too. Hope rest of lads do well. Sure they will.

Where can you bet on this? I'm signed up with William Hill but can't see anything there.

Oh that's a darn good question MachineGun... Let me make some enquiries, although I know that online gambling is prohibited in America now, so it might not be listed.

I spoke to Jayson earlier and he said he plays Lacy so I'm a bit confused?

MachineGun (and anyone else who is interested): The organisers of the US Open are unaware of any bookmakers offering odds on the result of the US Open.
I'm pretty sure that online gambling is prohibited in the majority of US States at the moment isn't it? That could be part of the reason.
