New 9 Ball Champion Manuel Pereira Celebrating His Victory.
Photos, results and vital statistics from the 2007 Youth European Championships!
“Pool has no age limitations” – this famous statement was proved once again when more than 60 players over 40 years old gathered together in Leende to find out who is the best in Europe.

The Seniors EC became triumphal for German players who appeared to be among prize winners in all the disciplines and won most of the medals (For more details watch statistics below). But there were some other fantastic conquests – such as Austria’s Karl Hanscho’s performance as he brushed aside Johny Vanrijkel (BEL) and became European 8Ball Champion. Among the other great displays one can mention Ladies 8Ball final match when Pia Vahasoyrinki from Finland defeated Klara Lensing (GER). And of course nobody could stay aside when emotional Portugal’s Manuel Pereira jumped with joy after beating Holger Gries from Germany in 9Ball final.
The EPBF thanks partners and sponsors of Seniors EC: “Dynamic”, “Ivan Simonis”, “BWin”, “Aramith”, “Kozoom”, “IBP” and hotel “Golden Tulip”. As debutants of the Championships, Viktor Kuvshinov and Alexandr Kondrakov from Russia said: “We had the best impressions possible. The atmosphere was very friendly, organizers did very good job here and all the players will surely get a lot of experience for the future”.
