Yes, it was none other than Pro9.co.uk regular Tony Gear who beat us all at the most recent on-line poker event hosted as ever by www.mickeyflynnspoker.com in April.

Tony is thrilled to have won and said, "It was quite a tough competition, I think there were about 27 or 28 people in it, and it wasn't going too well at the start. I managed to pull through to the final table and once I got there, basically, I think I got lucky with the cards in the end and it was really great I got to win it."

It's clear to see that "Pool Ace" didn't lead the tournament all the way,
but played a very good end-game to become the eventual winner.

He said, "I tried to qualify once before, but I got knocked out and finished about 16th and I thought it was going to be really difficult to get through to the final."
