POLISH DYNAMIC BILLARD 10-BALL OPEN - THE GRAND OPENING IS BEHIND US!

Kielce inaugurated the Polish Dynamic Billard 10-Ball Open World Cup! The grand opening is behind us.

The capital of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship hosts the world's leading billiard players. The opening ceremony of the Polish Dynamic Billard 10-Ball Open took place on Thursday evening at the Grand Hotel Kielce.

The first day of the event taking place on 16 Dynamic III tables located in the Grand Hotel Kielce is behind us. No official match took place on Thursday, but the players had the opportunity to participate in a training session.

Just after 8 p.m., the opening ceremony of the Polish Dynamic Billard 10-Ball Open began, attended by athletes, officials and the media.

– Together we can do fantastic things. We have the support of the government, local government, and business companies from Europe, America and Asia. They trusted us, knowing that we would implement a cool, world-class project. We did everything in our power to make this happen – says Marcin Krzeminski, president of the East European Billiard Council, tournament director.

During the ceremonial inauguration, speakers included Tomasz Jamka, a member of the Management Board of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.

– I would like to welcome the best billiard players from around the world to our region, who will take part in the Polish Dynamic Billard 10-Ball Open tournament. I hope that in the future they will come back here as tourists to thoroughly explore our wonderful region, because we have something to be proud of – he says.

Also present at the opening of the tournament were Gregory Koblenz (head of Dynamic Billard Organization from Germany – general sponsor of the World Cup), Secretary General of the World Billiards Federation Jorgen Sandman, Małgorzata Wilk-Grzowna – vice-president of the Polish Tourist Organization, as well as MP Lucjan Pietrzczyk and vice-president of the Polish Association Billiards, Grzegorz Kędzierski.

A representative of the WPA spoke. – Without a doubt, Poland is one of the strongest billiard countries in the world. We're not talking about one, three or five athletes here. We are talking about ten or even fifteen players. Each of them is really good. These achievements would not have happened without the involvement of the Polish Billiards Association. Many years of work are now bearing great fruit. This is fantastic! – emphasizes Jorgen Sandman.
