Match 2 – Las Vegas Dice vs. Houston Hustlers.
The Las Vegas Dice opened Friday's match with the Houston Hustlers with a convincing 30-12 win, setting the tone for a lopsided 12-2 victory at the WPBL arena in Las Vegas.
Joey Gray, an alternate for Houston who filled in for injured team captain Jeremy Jones, had a rough evening scratching twice during shoot out breaks.
One of Gray's miscues was after Charlie Williams of Las Vegas scored 13 straight points to overcome a deficit at the end of regulation to beat Gray and make the score 6-2 for Las Vegas with only 2 games remaining.

Jones will return to action in place of Gray Sunday afternoon when the Hustlers face the New York Pride at 4 pm Pacific time. Houston's only points of the night would come in doubles play thanks to shootout wins by the tandems of Justin Hall and Gray, and later Hall and Chip Compton.
Las Vegas has now scored 19 points in their two matches this season, helping the trio of Williams, John Schmidt and Mike Davis live up to high pre-season expectations for the South Division.
Their next match will be Saturday at noon PST when they take on the Phoenix Fire.
All matches can be seen at www.wpbltv.com and are free through Sunday, June 9th.
WPBL Bonus Ball - Los Angeles vs. Atlanta, June 7, 2013
Match 1 – Los Angeles Wave vs. Atlanta Scorpions.
Ernesto Dominguez drove the daggar into the Atlanta Scorpions in Game 6 of last night’s match after he took advantage of Shannon Daulton’s opening miss and proceeded to run the table for a 30-0 Shutout victory. The victory added 3 points to the Los Angeles score making it 9-2 and solidifying the match for LA. Ernesto was likely working off the momentum of his son Oscar who had just left the table after stealing a point from Atlanta. Oscar defeated Dennis Hatch by a score of 30-29 in the shoot out of game # 5 firing in a cross corner bank on his final ball.
Los Angeles went on to win the match by a final of 14-4 to improve their record to 2-0 and solidify their 1st place standings in the South Division. Most people’s preseason favorite, Atlanta has fallen to 0-2 and captain Johnny Archer's (pictured) team is in need of a victory next week to keep their heads above water.
