Bootcamp!

Johan Ruijsink and Alex Lely have added a massive pool-infusion to the cuesports calendar. From the 17th until the 21st August, Skillz and Drillz-III takes place.

Johan and Alex use their 30 years of playing and coaching experience at the highest level to give the participants a tidal wave of information: technique, shot-selection, kick-shots, safeties, the mental game and more than a sniff of straightpool.

�But I never play straightpool!�...

...We are from a small country with a very modest group of players to work with. What we do have is the analytical mindset and the will and conviction to found the learning process on knowledge and understanding. Straightpool gives the foundation of a nuclear bunker: technically and mentally. If you witnessed Stephan Cohen and Nick van den Berg win their European gold in 10 and 9-ball respectively, the straightpool in their game clearly shone through.

The Mental Game will be addressed thoroughly, theory as well as practice. How many goals should you set for a training, a tournament, a season? Also, will we make daily use of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) audio and a mind-machine.

These are used to influence the frequency of brain waves, to enter the optimal cerebral state, the best mindset to perform on the pooltable (alfa waves). This proven method to speed up ones learning curve is a kind of instrumental meditation.

Do you lack incentive to practice like in the old days, do you long for the hours to fly by practicing with full focus and enthusiasm? Are you playing for a year and a half and looking for an optimal learning process? Do you want to experience �ownage� in the coming season?

Five days Skillz and Drillz is not merely a powerful impulse for your game that you will relive for months (depending on your input). It is also a lot of fun to fulfill the mission collectively during the daytime and blow off steam at night.

On average we practice 8-9 hrs/day. If the temperature inclines us, we will have a tropical schedule with an extensive break after lunch (3 hrs). This will be compensated for in the evenings. Hotel and meals from the 17th-21st is included: � 450,-. We will join forces in Ames in Deurne (near Eindhoven airport).
